LANDMARKS It is worth seeing the salt mines Salinas Continentales, the area of Los Cuchillos (particularly good to climb), the view from the Peñas Blancas, the Moluengo peak or the area around the Contreras reservoir, a perfect place to sail. GASTRONOMY Different types of spiced sausages and cured ham.
FEASTS They take place in August, between the 14th and the 21st and are devoted to Saint Roche. There is a fancy dresses parade, a paella contest and a walking race. The town also celebrates parties to honour Saint Isidro on May the 15th, as well as during carnival, and September the 9th, when a pilgrimage to the Chapel of the Virgen de Tejada takes place. Once by the chapel, the pilgrims receive a piece of home made bread baked by the women in the town.
